Our founder, Richard Stoll, ignited his passion for high quality regional fare while working his way through college at a well-known thriving Mexican restaurant chain in Atlanta. Stoll believed that a mexican kitchen, with the right atmosphere, diverse flavors and a great team, would attract an audience. From this idea, Huey Luey’s was born.
Our restaurant’s chefs influence the menu not only with their home grown culinary experience, but also with local ingredients and twists on popular Mexican dishes. Everyone who dines at Huey Luey’s is offered the best, freshest quality ingredients (no cans!) and handcrafted and house-made Mexican fare. Each day, we start early with a delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables. We hand-squeeze our limes, we hand-scoop our avocados. We cook everything fresh, every day, and prepare all our sauces, salsas and desserts fresh daily.
All of this takes a lot of time and effort, and we’re proud of the fact that we do it old school, and make our food with pride every single day. Huey Luey’s also extends that passion into new and creative drink flavors, which are highlighted in a large Margarita Bar that features over 200 tequilas, and is rich in fresh squeezed juices made from seasonal fruits.
